Due to work issues, we left the organization of this trip until the very last minute. We booked the Eurotunnel the day we travelled and booked the hotels in the car on the way there. Being such a last minute thing, there was a strong temptation to just head for somewhere we know well, like Belgium or Zermatt, but in the end we managed to be slightly imaginative and at least visit two resorts neither of us had been to before in the summer. |
