This was the view from a couple of hundred feet above Tufteren. As you can see, despite the slightly cloudy start, it was turning out to be a splendid day and, in the sunny bits at least, the snow had melted rapidly.
The Matterhorn is clearly visible on the left. The hill/mountain on the right is Wisshorn - the one that I walked up and over yesterday. And the dark bit right in the middle of the photo is the valley that I walked back down through.
I would very much like to do that walk again one day when the weather is better (along with the one to the Schonbielhutte).
