The last time we in this region, we were trying to move hotels from Chamonix to Saas Fee, but the pass from Chamonix into Switzerland (the Col de la Forclaz) was closed, so we had to drive through the Mont Blanc Tunnel into Italy and go into Switzerland from that side. Today the pass is open and the weather is fabulous, as are the views.
