The scenic road that we were going to take has been closed by a rockfall, so we unexpectedly end up at the Eira do Serrado viewpoint, which offers this fine view of the Curral das Freiras. In the middle of the photo at the top, you can just see clouds spilling over the top of the mountains into the valley, which looks a lot more impressing in real life than it's turned out in the photo (as is so often the case).
