Having hung around at Gornegrat for a while, we got the train down to Rotenboden (9,236 feet) to take some photos.
This is also a very popular destination for Japanese tourists. You can just about make out some of them around the lake. It seems to be THE thing for them to do here to get the train to Rotenboden and walk down to Riffelberg. Can’t say I blame them. If you’re only here for a day and have only got the time for one hike, it’s a fantastic hike to do.
