On Sunday we covered the final 400 miles from Luxembourg to Switzerland, through France and Germany. As we progressed south, the weather got progressively worse. This was taken as we were climbing into the Alps. About half-an-hour later we were driving though the torrential downpour that can be seen in the background. There was also a great deal of thunder and lightning. Very exciting.
