I’d been up here loads of times before and never noticed the Monte-Rosa-Hutte. In fact, I’d only spotted it this time because I saw it on a postcard in one of the shops in the Gornergrat “mall”. Having seen it on the postcard, I immediately headed outside to try to find the real thing.
Despite its space-age design and construction, it’s basically a mountain hut, albeit quite a big one, with five or six floors. But have a look at where it is....
