The plan today was to head up the East side of the valley at Winkelmatten, then head North to Tufteren and then on to Tasch. However, despite the fact that the snow didn’t appear to have made it all the way down to into town, I only had to walk a few hundred feet up the side of the valley to be in the snow. Given that it’s still fairly early and this was a snow-covered, West-facing slope, it was cold. Really cold.
