The main reason I wanted to walk down that particular trail, apart from it being a jolly nice walk, was because it would allow me the opportunity to go past one of my favourite view points in the area. This bit of trail carved into a sheer rock face offers magnificent views across Zermatt to the Matterhorn in the distance (which here has just disappeared off the top left of the photo). Just brilliant.
