Now that the screaming masses had departed to curse someone else’s day, we were able to appreciate the scenery more effectively.
There were quite a few trails around the lake, winding off into the distance to unseen mountain huttes. It may be necessary to come back for a couple of days at some point and have a go at a few of those.
