On the way down I pass a sign to a gorge. As gorges are generally quite interesting, I pop in to have a look. They've got a boardwalk make of actual, creaking wooden boards. Very impressive. These things are normally made of sturdy, non-creaking metal. Makes me feel like I might plummet to my death at any moment.
