Thursday - We’re up early for a bear watching trip today. And it doesn’t take long to find one. Apparently they come to the shore as the tide is going out to search for crabs hiding under the rocks. It’s so quiet here that we can easily hear it munching and crunching on them. It doesn’t seem particularly bothered by the presence of our boat, although our guide assures us that it would definitely perk up if we were to venture onto the shore.
