Having arrived in Vancouver, we go to pick up our hire car. The car we've booked (a Jeep SUV) isn't available (as usual), so we're offered a "free" upgrade to a Chevrolet Suburban, which can be seen here parked next to a Smart car. It probably wouldn’t be too bad out of town, but we’ve got to drive it round Vancouver for two days at the end of the holiday. So we politely decline their generous offer and ask for something a bit more "normal" sized.
