We arrive in Kreuzboden just in time for them to turn the cablecars off for lunch, so there’s going to be no opportunity to continue our journey to the top station for an hour-or-so. Still the views from here are quite splendid, so it doesn’t seem to be much of an effort to have to hang around for a while.
