Having met back up with Judith at Hahnenmoos, we got the cablecar down to Geils (1,707m). As it was still early we decided to walk the 4 miles (6km) back to town. Part of the trail ran along the route of the cablecars that would have whisked us back to town in less than 15 minutes.
