A few hundred meters from the Hutte is a panoramic viewpoint. This is supposed to be the magnificent view to the Dachstein mountain range on the other side of the valley.
There’s a road up to Rossbrand, so Judith and her parents drove up and met me for lunch before I started the walk back down.
