About three hours later and we were home, having covered 2,063 miles during almost two days (!) behind the wheel.
And so another top holiday comes to an end. We had a great time in Austria, but unless you have a lot of time to spare, I think it’s a bit far to drive to from the UK. If we go again, and I think we will, we shall likely fly to Salzburg or Vienna and pick up a hire car.
