After about 45 minutes, we reach Myrdal. Given that the journey up had been pretty scenic, I was expecting some sort of magnificent panorama-type view from Myrdal. However, it's just a railway station 3,000 feet up a mountain. There's not really anything to see here at all. So we switch on to this other train to travel back down to Flam.
