After a few minutes the clouds at our level clear and we get a lovely view across the tops of the clouds to the West. We still can't really see anything below us, but we decide to head out along the ridge anyway. I've got tracking enabled on my GPS, so if the clouds close in again we should at least be able to find our way back to the cablecar station.
