A few minutes later I crossed though a small pass onto the south/west side of the hill, from where I had a fabulous view all the way back to Playa Blanca and what should have been the horizon beyond. Although you can’t quite make it out in this photo, the horizon is missing, completely obscured by heavy clouds and torrential rain.
