Tower

When the castle was captured (in 1647 I think), someone had the bright idea of blowing it up. So they started to dig under the walls to plant explosive charges. However, while they were digging, one side of this tower collapsed 10 feet down the hillside, crushing two of the mischief makers in the process. Impressively, apart from cracking in the middle, the rest of it has remained intact since. Now that’s workmanship.
