So having driven through the Mont Blanc Tunnel into Italy, we've still got to get into Switzerland. The quickest way to do this is through the Gran San Bernardo Tunnel, which costs another £20. I'm beginning to think that maybe the tunnel owners have dug up the road north of Chamonix to drum up a bit of extra business.
