I arrive at La Flegere after about 90 minutes. This really has been a "classic" walk and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
Despite the fact that I've only had a net 100m (328 feet) descent, the trail has been a bit up and down and my legs are definitely looking forward to a rest. However, the views have been fantastic and there have been none of the crowds that beset yesterday's "classic" walk on the other side of the valley (although that might also be partly due to the fact that it's now Monday and the weekend crowds have gone home).
