Monday - Up bright and early again. With aching thighs and calves I hobble to the window and, oh no, the clouds have descended. This is a photo from our balcony of the Aiguille du Midi cablecar about to disappear into the clouds.
We check the weather at breakfast and it says that there's cloud only to 2,200m, so if we get high enough we should make it back into the sunshine. We decide to get the cablecar up the other side of the valley to Planpraz.
