We visited Johnson Canyon a couple of years ago, but because we arrived fairly late in the afternoon, we only made it as far as the Lower Falls. On this day we had arrived before midday, so we had plenty of time to walk all the way to the Upper Falls, which, as you can see in the photo, are completely and impressively frozen over.
