About six miles from Morant's Curve on highway 1a is the Baker Creek Mountain Resort, which is basically about twenty cabins in the woods in the middle of nowhere.
Handily they had cabins available, so we booked in for a couple of nights. We had the option of a cabin with a jacuzzi, or a cabin with a real fire. We thought the one with the real fire would be more in the spirit of a cabin in the woods. Here's a photo of the stove in the living room of our cabin.
