Back in the car and we drove the short distance to Johnson Lake. Despite only being a few miles from the unfrozen Lake Minnewanka and largely unfrozen Two Jack Lake, Johnson Lake was completely frozen over and covered with snow. I'm sure there must be some scientific reason as to how and why that sort of thing happens.
