We were pretty much the first people off the plane (there were only about a dozen people in the Business Class cabin), we passed straight through customs and our bags were already on the carousel when we arrived there. A seamless end to a very nice flight.
Although we were out of the airport by around 6pm local time, that was still 1am in London and in our brains. So, as we've done in previous years, we decided to stay in the Delta hotel at the airport. This is a photo of their atrium.
We had just enough stamina remaining for a pint and a bite to eat in the hotel's bar before flaking out for the night.
