It was a lovely, sunny day, so we decided to drive the 30 miles-or-so to the Kananaskis Lakes. We’ve been here a few times over the years, but only once in good weather, so the blue skies are a bit of a treat. The car’s thermometer indicated that it’s about -3C out, but there wasn’t a breath of wind and in the sunshine it felt really rather pleasant.
