This Vickers Wellington bomber is one of the major exhibits in the Wellington Hangar. It was built at Brooklands during World War II and crashed into Loch Ness during a training flight in 1940. It was located in 1976 by a team of Americans searching for the Loch Ness monster and finally raised in 1985.
