Not only was it not raining, it was beautifully sunny, albeit a little chilly. Having left Calais, we headed for Ieper (or Ypres depending on which map you happen to be looking at). As we arrived just before lunchtime on Friday, parking in the centre of town proved to be pretty straightforward. This is a view across the Market Square.
