Back in Banff, we decide to go for a walk round the Banff Springs Golf Course, so we park up at the foot of the Bow Falls. We get about 400 metres from the car before seeing a couple of what we think are coyotes (but might possibly be wolves) sitting by the fairway. We decide that close proximity to large carnivores does not make for a relaxing walk and retreat to the car.
