Majorca

Not feeling up to a long flight, we thought we’d try somewhere a bit more local than our usual summer getaways. We hired a villa with a pool in the north-east of Majorca, about a mile outside a town called Pollenca. We had a mixed week. The weather, as you might expect, was very nice, as was Majorca in general. The villa was not so nice. We had no water at all for the first two days, then no hot water for a further two-and-a-half days after that. Having arrived on Saturday, it was Wednesday evening before we had access to a warm shower. James Villas, you suck.
